The battle for truth begins in the heart!
Are you brave enough to follow cousins Beth and Patrick. In 13th century Libya, a vicious animal is killing the townspeople’s sheep. To appease the beast, the people believe they must offer up a maiden as a sacrifice. When Beth tries to help a girl named Sabra escape from becoming the animal’s next victim, she is left for an offering outside a dragon’s lair. Meanwhile, Patrick and a new friend named Hazi, join Georgius, a Roman knight who plans to kill the dragon. But the plans go awry when Beth and Sabra beg him not to hurt the dragon. The girls know the true secret of Silene—the dragon isn’t its worst enemy.
"My 7 yr old son LOVES this series (my five year old also really likes them, but cannot sit for as long to listen. But great for multiple ages). This is the first chapter book he will sit through and does not want to go to bed because he wants to know what happens. I love that these are clean books, with no hidden messages, that also inspire imagination and discuss history. We’ve read about six of the so far and plan to buy the whole series so he can keep rereading.
If your child struggles with reading, or it’s just not their skill area, this is one that you will need to read to them. For more advanced readers (at this age) they can probably read it on their own."

"My 8 year old twin girls love these books! They read through them quickly even though they are one of the longer books they read daily for school reading homework. Grade appropriate (maybe some difficult names here and there, but good for them to read). Great content from a Christian father who loves his girls and God."

"My sons love these books. This series will please even the struggling reader, or the young boy (or girl, I imagine) who has to be practically forced to read! Great message, fun stories, they are always asking when the next one in the series will be out!"
